Visit Alien Worlds At The Space Foundation Discovery Center This Saturday, May 7

May 4, 2016 – It’s time to explore the other side of the universe, and the unusual inhabitants of distant planets. The Space Foundation Discovery Center is celebrating aliens and their worlds this Saturday as part of Star Days “Alien Worlds.”

Take your photo as an explorer on an alien world as you image the inhabitants as friend or foe, and learn about exoplanets with a Science On a Sphere presentation. These activities, plus many more, will be available for guests of all ages. Star Days are sponsored in part by Raytheon and Uwingu.

This will be the final Star Days of the 2015-2016 season. Star Days will return in the fall after the Summer of Discovery – “Heroes of Space” program ends. To learn more about Summer of Discovery events and activities, see www.spacefoundation.org/museum.

Please note some events have additional costs beyond Discovery Center admission.

The Discovery Center is located only five minutes from Garden of the Gods Park, at 4425 Arrowswest Drive, Colorado Springs.

Military discounts are available. For hours, pricing and other information, visit www.spacefoundation.org/museum, or call the Space Foundation at 719.576.8000.
