Vigil For Carrie Fisher At Wings Over The Rockies Air & Space Museum

December 27, 2016 – Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum will be hosting a public vigil from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28th in remembrance of Carrie Fisher. Fisher died on December 27 after suffering a massive heart attack last Friday.

In recognition of her iconic role as Princess Leia in Star Wars, the museum’s X-Wing StarFighter will be front and center for anyone who wants to pay their respects. There will be a speaker at 6:45 p.m. and costumed characters throughout. The vigil will include a candle and lightsaber tribute.

The museum’s Star Wars X-Wing StarFighter is a 3/4-scale replica of the aircraft flown by Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The spacecraft is signed by numerous cast and crew including Harrison Ford, George Lucas, and David Prowse.

Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is located at 7711 East Academy Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.
