Space Foundation Announces Speakers For 31st Space Symposium

February 2, 2015 – The Space Foundation has announced its lineup of speakers for the 31st Space Symposium to be held at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs from April 13-16. The Space Symposium is an international event that connects government, military and industry decision makers.

The 2015 agenda includes two classified tracks — Cyber 1.5 on Monday, and Wednesday’s Space Classified program. The Technical Track program introduced last year has been expanded for 2015, and Wednesday’s concurrent sessions have grown from four to eight.

Top civil and military space leaders from the U.S. confirmed to speak include:

  • Maj. Gen. Charles F. Bolden, Jr., USMC (Ret.), Administrator, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
  • Robert Cardillo, Director, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)
  • Lt. Gen. Samuel A. Greaves, Commander, United States Air Force, Space and Missile Systems Center, Air Force Space Command
  • Gen. John E. Hyten, USAF, Commander, Air Force Space Command
  • The Honorable Deborah Lee James, Secretary of the Air Force
  • Lt. Gen. John W. “Jay” Raymond, USAF, Commander, 14th Air Force
  • Cyber 1.5 Classified

    For 2015, the Cyber 1.5 conference is classified, and U.S. citizenship and a TS/SCI security clearance are required for registration. Cyber 1.5 will be held on Monday, April 13, with featured speakers:
