February 19, 2015 – Honeybee Robotics continues to earn accolades. For the third year in a row, the Robotics Business Review has named Honeybee Robotics to its RBR50 list as one of the most notable companies in the global robotics industry.
The RBR editorial team and its advisory council selected the final 50 companies from a pool of thousands nominated by the Robotics Business Review audience. Companies in the list are recognized for their innovation, groundbreaking applications, commercial success and potential for future success, representing many different levels and facets of the robotics ecosystem.
“Honeybee’s mission is to make robotic systems that deliver advanced capabilities in demanding environments – including outer space, planetary exploration, infrastructure monitoring and medical applications,” said Stephen Gorevan, co-founder and Chairman. “We’re honored to receive this recognition from the Robotics Business Review and to be situated among the impressive companies on the list this year.”
The RBR50 list includes large multi-nationals well as startups from 11 countries around the world. The RBR50 is indicative of those industries where Robotics Business Review has recognized significant growth during the past year, which points to structural shifts in the kinds of robots and robotics technology being developed for those markets.
“2015: Year of the Inflection Point in robotics. What a great time to be counted among the global best in the fastest rising industry in the world,” said Tom Green, RBR Editor in Chief. “Once again, the robotics community has done a stellar job in selecting those few to represent all.”
