Challenger Learning Center Is Hiring Summer Educators

February 12, 2015 – The Challenger Learning Center in Colorado Springs is looking for certified teachers as well as students who are enrolled in an accredited education program at a college/university to teach hands-on space and robotics summer camps.

Camps run throughout the months of June and July, at the Challenger Learning Center, as well as different locations across Colorado Springs and Douglas County. They need educators for students entering Grade 1 through Grade 12.

The pay scale for teaching our summer programs is as follows:

  • Certified Teacher: $750/week
  • Students with at least 60 hours in an accredited education program: $500/week
  • High school graduates who have less than 60 university credit hours: $400/week
  • Summer educators must commit to at least one full week of camp, but may choose to teach multiple camps throughout the summer. All curriculum and lessons are provided, and all summer teachers will receive training from a current Challenger staff member.
