January 28, 2019 – The High Altitude Observatory (HAO) will host Boulder Solar Day on Tuesday, March 12. This informal one-day meeting provides an overview of solar research being accomplished at local institutes and encourages informal interactions with both local and visiting researchers. Topics will include solar instrumentation, observations and models.
The day’s oral presentations will be bookended with a “Director’s Update” kickoff talk and a Keynote address. The Keynote will be followed by a catered reception to encourage continued discussion. Posters will be available during extended breaks throughout the day and at the reception.
Boulder Solar Day will be hosted by HAO in their Center Green Building 1 with sponsorship courtesy of HAO, LASP, NSO, NWRA, and SwRI. Participation is free and open to anyone interested in local solar research.
